What do you think were going to get from him this upcoming season? John has some stuff, but he always has a hard time striking guys out. Hopefully this surgery puts him where he needs to be, which is going out there and delivering. I think it’s pivotal that he’s in top shape because were definitely going to need him on his game, if we want to win. Thoughts?

    well i am a 12 year old met fan and i can answer this. first of all john maine is my favorite player. he has a good arm. in the future he will get btter as he gains more expierence. i think he will give the mets what they need. and k-rod will help.

    All I can say is that I hope for the best. My biggest concern is the bullpen keeping together through the end of the season.

    I think he will have a good year. He appears relaxed, has a strong arm, and is determined to pitch the entire year. !5 wins.

    i dont know howhes gonna do this year.. last year he got over hype and every one thought he was gonna be a really good pitcher.. but with johan and the emergence of pelfey and perez he shouldnt feel that much pressure to win every game..so hopefully hes more relaxed and will pitch at least .500 .. i would say hes gonna be like 12-10 with an e.r.a in the high 3′s low 4′s
